Shihan Bill Bressaw, 9th Dan
World Chief Instructor of the USA -- Shihan Bressaw first started training with Sensei Kimura in 1971, but has been an Instructor since 1966. Shihan Bressaw has 2 dojos in New Jersey: one in Edison and the other in Fords. Shihan Bressaw also has experience in weapons training, ju-jitsu and other styles of karate. Shihan works very hard to keep Shukokai where it is today and continually strives to improve it..
Shihan Lionel Marinus, 9th Dan
World Chief Instructor of South Africa North -- Shihan Marinus first met Sensei Kimura in 1969 in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). He currently resides in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa. Sensei Lionel placed 2nd in the first ever KSI World Tournament in 1969 held in Paris. He is also a very successful chiropractor and loves to golf.
Shihan Chris Thompson, 9th Dan
World Chief Instructor of South Africa South -- Shihan Thompson first met Sensei Kimura in 1971. Before meeting Sensei Kimura, Shihan Thompson had his Nidan in Kyokushinkai as well as Nidan in Okinawan Goju Ryu. He has many full time dojos in and around Cape Town. In 1975, he received "Best Fighter" award and in 1981 at KSI Worlds he won best overall kata and kumite awards.
Shihan Eddie Daniels, 9th Dan (1949-2020)
World Chief Instructor of Great Britain -- Shihan Daniels first met Sensei Kimura in 1968. Sensei lives in Birmingham, England and his primary dojo is in Blackheath. Sensei has also trained in other karate styles before Kimura Shukokai. He was very happy to share his passion with his wife Solfrid, son Audun, and his granddaughter Mia. Shihan Daniels has been elected twice into the Combat Hall of Fame. Sadly, Shihan Daniels passed away in January 2020.
