Meet your Instructors

Sensei Steve Fearnley, 5th Dan (Godan) Chief Instructor of Lincoln Shukokai

Sensei Steve started training Kimura Shukokai in September of 1997 under Sensei Raj, 5th Dan, in Smithville, Ontario. Steve achieved his black belt (Shodan) in December of 2002 and now currently holds the rank of 5th Dan (Godan). He has participated in many of the World Tournaments throughout his years. He also referees in the World and European Tournaments. He opened his own dojo in Vineland, Ontario in September of 2007. The Beamsville dojo opened in 2012 and moved to its new larger location in 2016 Sensei Steve has attended Many World Chief Instructor Courses W.C.I.C's and travels to New Jersey several times a year to train with Shihan Bill Bressaw.

Sempai Marcus Lubin, 2nd Dan (Nidan)

Marcus started training Kimura Shukokai in 2013 under Sensei Steve He achieved his black belt in 2019 at a grading in New Jersey. Marcus has competed in several ASKU tournaments. ​ Marcus earned his Nidan (2nd dan) in 2021.

Bart LeDrew, 1st Dan (Shodan)

Bart started training in 2017 under Sensei Steve. He gained his Shodan rank in 2022. Bart currently is teaching the little ninja class. He constantly comes up with new ideas for the class.

Cai Shirton, 2nd Dan (Nidan)

Cai started training in 2015 in Beamsville with Sensei Steve. He achieved his Shodan in 2021. In 2024 at a Gasshuku here with Shihan Bressaw, Cai earned his Nidan. Cai is an assistant instructor and has competed in Several ASKU tournaments.
