BLACK BELT TRAINING
Wednesday, March 19, 10-1pm: IMPACT 2 to 4 pm Guest Senior Rank several different individuals Thursday, March 20, 10-1pm: TIMING 2 to 4 pm Guest Senior Rank several different individuals
Each weekday training will host senior KSI Sensei(s) to share their thoughts on KSI technique.
WCIC – Joint World Chief Instructors (JWCIs) Bill Bressaw (USA), Chris Thompson (SA South), and Lionel Marinus (SA North) Saturday, March 22 & Sunday, March 23. The JWCIs will teach 1 1⁄2 hours each for 3 sessions each day. 10 to 1:00 lunch 1 to 2 2 to 3:30 last session. Rooms include free breakfast with provided card that will be served outside the 2nd floor training halls every morning 7 to 10 am .
Note: Lunch: There will be cash and carry lunch stands next to the training hall (2nd floor) for each of the 4 days of training sessions. Can’t bring your own food. It must be purchased at the hotel or off premises. You won’t have much time for off premises. The usual cost approximately $20.00 or less per day. Sandwich variety, drink, fruit there will be free water stations etc.
SUKIYAKI PARTY
Saturday evening, March 22: 7 to 12pm at the APA Hotel Ball Room with Japanese beef sukiyaki, chicken dish and vegetarian on menu plus ++. Music, dancing etc. All WCIC participants will gather to celebrate 30 years of KSI since Soke Kimura’s passing in 1995. Reservation required – ask your dojo Sensei for costs. $110 Adults and $85 children below 14. Cash Bar.

The American Shukokai Karate Union is excited to announce the 2025 World Chief Instructors Course, to be held 16-23 March in Woodbridge, New Jersey. As the year 2025 marks the 30th since Sensei Kimura’s passing, we invite you to join us in celebrating his legacy through discovering his technique from senior instructors and deepening our KSI bond.
The event will be held at the APA Hotel in Woodbridge, NJ, located within walking distance to New York City express trains. The hotel has multiple restaurants on site, including a full Japanese sushi and traditional dish menu. All WCIC events will take place at the hotel.
We negotiated an excellent room rate ($145/night + taxes for 2 people and including breakfast), but availability is limited. Please make your reserva2ons no later than 10 January 2025 to guarantee this rate and your room through this BOOKING LINK. Rooms are not guaranteed after 10 January and any reservations made then may be subject to a higher rate.
Room reservations can be modified or cancelled up to 48 hours before the start of your reservation, so please lock in your rooms soonest!
